Basic Life Support (BLS), formerly known as Health Care Provider (HCP) CPR, is designed for healthcare professionals and healthcare students who may require advanced resuscitation skills.

Basic Life Support includes adult, child, and infant CPR, AED training, and advanced healthcare-level resuscitation skills commonly required by nursing programs, medical programs, paramedic programs, and healthcare professions.
Successful participants receive a Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification valid for 1 year.
