EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER (EMR)
BLS & PROFESSIONAL RESPONDER INSTRUCTOR
IMPORTANT:
- RE-CERTIFICATION is ONLY permitted if your past First Responder certificate was issued within 3 years.
- Proof of certification is due on the first day of course (within 3 years).
- The EMR upgrade is taken when someone has a FR certification that is valid and needs to upgrade their course to a full EMR. It runs the same time as an EMR recertification and is 40 hours long. It includes adding all the extra skills that you would get in a full EMR plus the testing at the end.

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
80-hour course, need to have a current and valid certification of Standard First Aid and CPR -C to attend.
