- Red Cross certification valid for 3 years with level C or 1 year for CPR with BLS
- Proof of previous certification is due on the day of the course
- Temporary certification cards are available on the same day
- All CPR courses include free certification in AED (Automated External Defibrillation)

Level C prices –$79 student, $89 Regular – HST included.
PLEASE NOTE:
CPR/AED (Level C) RE-CERTIFICATION is ONLY permitted if your past CPR (Level C) certificate was issued within 3 years. Proof of certification is due on day of course (within 3 years). We accept CPR certifications from all recognized agencies in Canada.
CPR/AED (C) focuses on lifesaving skills on the adult, child and baby.
YOU WILL LEARN:
- Preparing to Respond – Introduction
- Emergency Medical System (911)
- Recovery Position (unconscious breathing)
- CPR for adults, children and babies
- Automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Heart attack/Angina & Stroke/TIA
- Choking (adults, children and babies)
- Responding as a “team”
CPR/AED (BLS) for health care providers covers additional advanced skills including:
- Pulse Check (adult, child, infant)
- Two-Rescuer Rescue Breathing (Artificial Respiration)
- Two-Rescuer CPR (adult, child, baby)
- How to use a BVM (Bag Valve Mask) and pocket mask in a two rescuer team
- Airway management for blunt force trauma (jaw thrust)
- AED protocols for witnessed and un-witnessed arrest

PLEASE NOTE:
Standard First Aid CPR/AED (Level C) Re-Certification is ONLY permitted for those who have a previous Standard First Aid CPR (Level C) certificate issued within 3 years. Proof of certification is due on the day of the course (within the last 3 years) and it MUST be a Canadian Red Cross certificate. Re-Certification is only permitted once for every full certification.
This course covers a wide range of First Aid injuries, illnesses and life threatening emergencies.
YOU WILL LEARN:

- Anaphylactic Shock (severe allergy) and Asthma
- Deadly bleeding – internal and external
- Amputations – partial and complete / Impaled objects
- Shock/Fainting
- Wound Basics (minor cuts, scrapes, punctures, bruises burns)
- Secondary Survey
- Head & spinal injuries
- Muscle, bone & joint injuries
- Burns (heat, chemical, electrical, sun)
- Diabetic emergencies
- Seizures or Convulsions (includes infant/child high fever)
- Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
- Hypothermia and frostbite
- Emergency child birth
- Poisoning
