Canadian Red Cross CPR or BLS Recertification
- CPR/AED Level C Recertification and Basic Life Support (BLS) Recertification courses are designed for participants who wish to renew their certification without repeating the full course.
- CPR/AED Level C focuses on lifesaving skills for adults, children, and babies, including CPR, AED use, choking emergencies, heart attack, and stroke recognition.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Recertification is designed for healthcare professionals and healthcare students and includes advanced resuscitation skills such as pulse checks, two-rescuer CPR, Bag Valve Mask (BVM) use, and healthcare provider AED protocols.
- Successful participants receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR certification. CPR/AED Level C certification is valid for 3 years. The BLS level is valid for 1 year.
Eligibility Requirements
Please Note:
- CPR/AED Level C Recertification is only available to participants holding a valid CPR Level C certification issued within the previous 3 years.
- Proof of certification must be provided upon registration.
- We accept CPR certifications from recognized training agencies across Canada.
- Expired certifications are not eligible for recertification and participants must complete the full certification course.
- BLS Recertification is only available to participants holding a valid BLS certification and are still in the 1 year validity period.

No. Expired certifications are not eligible for recertification. Participants with expired certifications must complete the full certification course again.
