Course Instructor: Teaching Experience Supervisor OR Instructor Trainer
Pre-requisite(s): 18 yrs old, proof of current certification Standard First Aid CPR/AED level C. Candidates MUST have solid skills and knowledge prior to the skills evaluation session. See Skills Checklist for a breakdown of all the testable skills. If candidates want to refresh and practice their skills prior to the skills evaluation and they already have a current certification, Heart to Heart offers their candidates free participation to any of our 1-Day SFA CPR/AED C Blended or Recertification courses to any of our locations (only for those who hold a current certification) for the purpose of reviewing and practicing your skills prior to the skills evaluation session.
Completion Criteria:
Candidates must successfully pass the required skills testing to proceed to Step #2. For those who do not pass the skills evaluation, will be referred to re-take or

Completion Criteria:
Successfully complete the Fundamentals of Instruction Online component before beginning the 2-day in-classroom component of Step 2.
Successfully complete the in-class microteaching segments provided by your IT.
Adhere to the Canadian Red Cross Standards of Behaviour and the Group Charter
Attend and participate in 100% of the course - this includes active, directed contributions at all scheduled sessions
