Terms and Conditions
All products and services of Heart to Heart First Aid CPR Services and its subsidiaries and affiliates are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreements governing their use.
The Terms are to be read by you together with any terms, conditions or disclaimers provided in the pages of the Site. In the event of any conflict, the terms provided in the pages of the Site will govern.
The information, material and content provided in the pages of the Site (the “Information”) may be changed at any time without notice. Changes may be made to the Terms at any time without notice by updating this posting. You agree to review the Terms regularly and your continued access or use of the Site will mean that you agree to any changes.
Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (e.g. cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration. We do not encourage anyone to send personal or financial and we are not responsible for and will not be liable to you or any one else for any damages in connection with an E-Mail sent by you to Heart to Heart First Aid CPR Services or an E-Mail sent by us to you.
No endorsement or approval of any third parties or their advice, opinions, information, products or services is expressed or implied by any Information.
Links from or to web sites outside the Site are meant for convenience only. Heart to Heart First Aid CPR Services does not review, endorse, approve or control, and is not responsible for any sites linked from or to the Site, the content of those sites, the third parties named therein, or their products and services. Linking to any other site is at your sole risk and we will not be responsible or liable for any damages in connection with linking.
All courses are non-refundable unless cancelled by Heart to Heart.
However, if you wish to reschedule your booking this can be done with 72 hours’ notice for non-blended First Aid and CPR courses and 1 weeks notice for blended Learning First Aid and CPR courses, there will be a $10 administration fee charged. If notice is not given within the time period outlined above the course is non-transferable.
If you register for a Blended Learning, Re-certification or Instructor course you must ensure you meet all of the requirements of the course booked. If you are refused entry to a course due to not meeting the requirements of the course you will forfeit your payment for that course.
A grace period will be provided if you wish to cancel your booking on the same day as booked. After this period all of our refund and transfer policy will apply in full.
During this time of COVID-19 if any of the following applies you can reschedule your training free of charge. Terms and conditions apply.
You have the following symptoms: Fever, Dry cough, Body aches, Headache, Sore throat, Runny nose, Tiredness, Shortness of breath,
You have you travelled outside of the Province or, Canada in the last 14 days
You have anyone in your household who has been quarantined (self or directed) or identified as a COVID-19 confirmed or suspected case
Or to your knowledge, you have been exposed to anyone who has been quarantined (self or directed) or identified as a COVID-19 confirmed or suspected case
If this applies to you and you provide advance notice you can transfer free of charge. You must not rebook until you are no longer in quarantine, or have been symptom-free for 14 days, if you have travelled outside of the country you must wait 14 days after your return date. If notice is not provided before the start of the course then you will no longer be able to transfer free of charge. Notice after the course has started will not be accepted.
All refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing.
Instructor Development Courses – If you are enrolled in one of our Instructor Development courses, due to the very small class sizes no refund or transfer is possible for this program unless the course is cancelled or postponed by Heart2Heart. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above for our regular courses. Instructor Development Courses are also non-transferrable. If there is an issue with a course date booked please contact our office as soon as possible,
Vancouver Location – Registrations at our Vancouver location are 100% non-refundable. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above
Kingston Location – If you cancel a registration 4 or more business days before the original course start date you will receive a full refund. Registrations cancelled less than 4 business days, will receive a 75% refund. NO-SHOWS or cancellation less than 24 hrs before the original course start date will not receive a refund.
All Blended learning courses are non-refundable.
Transfers- If you wish to transfer your course you must request this more than 24 hours before the course start date.
This supersedes the refund policy as listed above
Hamilton Location – 48 hours advanced notice is required to cancel a course registration. Cancellations are subject to a $20 administration fee. No refund will be provided for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the start of the course. 48 hours advanced notice is required to transfer to another course date without charge. By transferring to another date, you forfeit your right to cancel your course. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above
Heart to Heart First Aid CPR Services is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others. We collect information from users at several different points on the Web site. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Security and Confidentiality
All online transactions and contributions on this site occur through a safe, private, and secure system that protects personal information. From time to time we may communicate with clients via email or telephone.
